Like the previous meetings in this series, TG2025 will feature the latest updates from the gravitational wave detectors, laboratory tests, cosmological surveys and other experiments, as well as discussions of recent theoretical advances. Testing Gravity remains a topical theme because of the unexplained nature of Dark Matter and Dark Energy and the long-standing failure to reconcile gravity with quantum physics. The Testing Gravity conference series aims to provide theorists working on extensions of General Relativity with a realistic perspective on what aspects of their theories can be tested. On the other hand, the experimentalists and observers get a chance to learn about new ideas that their experiments can test. There will be a one-day "school" on Wednesday, January 29th, featuring review lectures covering the key topics of the conference. The main conference, Jan 30 - Feb 1, will include invited and contributed talks, and a poster session. The Black Holes Workshops gather researchers working on physical and mathematical problems of black holes, both in their classical and quantum aspects, as well as their connections to general relativity and gravitation, string theory, cosmology, and astrophysics, and stimulate the interaction between all these issues. The seventeenth edition of the Black Holes Workshop celebrates landmark contributions in the history of black holes and gravitation, namely the 50 years of the Hawking radiation, the 50 years of the discovery of the Hulse and Taylor pulsar, and the 75 years of the Goedel solution. The workshop will take place at the University of Aveiro, in December 19 and 20, 2024. Researchers on black holes in all their aspects are invited to participate. Registration for the event will start on September 16th and end on December 2nd. The deadline to submit abstracts is November 22nd. A limited number of accepted contributions will be selected, taking into account their scientific merit. The workshop is part of Banff's International Research Station for Mathematical Innovation and Discovery (BIRS) program. Similarly to our first gathering in Oaxaca in 2021, the workshop will combine talks with less formal discussion and brainstorming sessions. The program will focus on mathematical approaches for modeling, detecting, and analyzing gravitational waves, as well as their integration with machine learning and artificial intelligence: - What is the present status of analytical and numerical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data analysis techniques for detecting gravitational waves, and where do we go from here? - General relativity for future detectors. What is the future of template generation, initial data definition, Einstein equation evolution, and higher-order waveform extraction? - Theories beyond Einstein's General Relativity that may have detectable effects. What new physics can the 2.5G and 3G detectors discover? This is the first time that a school on Loop Quantum Gravity takes place in Les Houches, and an exciting opportunity to bring quantum gravity back to the foreground of Les Houches, where it was a central theme since its early days. The school will introduce the general concepts of Loop Quantum Gravity, its roots into the most important features of classical general relativity, as well as the techniques and key results of the theory. In particular, attention will be given to applications to black hole physics (entropy counting, singularity resolution) and cosmology (big bounce scenarios, cosmological perturbations), and to the recent development of an interplay between quantum gravity and quantum information (entanglement entropy and subregions of spacetime), and the possibility of having table-top quantum gravity experiments (measuring gravity-mediated entanglement). The program will be structured around two types of lectures: longer ones (6/8 hours) aimed at introducing basic aspects of the theory, and shorter ones (2/4 hours) aimed at more specific ongoing research topics and their techniques. The defining theme is "Unlocking Gravity Through Computation", zooming in on a key challenge faced by gravity researchers, namely the enormous physical and mathematical complexity of gravitation, in both its classical and quantum domains. Describing gravitational phenomena beyond a weak-field regime and in the absence of global symmetries requires refined computational methods. Progress in understanding black hole properties, binary systems, the early universe and astrophysical environments therefore depends critically on further developing our computational tool box. We are delighted to have assembled a broad and diverse range of keynote speakers, who work at the forefront of creating and applying numerical, analytical and simulation methods.
